Yes! Well… sort of… it depends what you mean by “game”… maybe…įor any Dad like me who is familiar with the long and glorious history of Microsoft Flight Simulator, I don’t need to say much more. Is Microsoft Flight Simulator Even A Game? Or, you may just be killing time while you wait for a substantial 120+ GB download to complete. Right… you probably actually want to know what I think of the game. Well, Microsoft Flight Simulator is available now to purchase outright, or better yet as part of the brilliant Xbox Game Pass for PC, which means you can jump right in and try it out for as little as a dollar (if you are a first-time user of Xbox Game Pass)! WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? GET FLYING!

I don't "cheat" but I felt that since I did earned that achievement, so I did simulation rate.If you have spent any time at all on this website in the past you will know that I have been looking forward to the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator all year! It’s imminent arrival even inspired me to get my hands on some of the best PNY XLR8 gaming components to boost the credentials of my gaming PC. So, what I did was to simulate rate for that achievement and got it less than an hour. I was just a few feet away from Seattle runway when I changed my view, boom, CTD. Seems to be a different issue than other CTDs, as the same exception code when the module name is FlightSimulator.exe seems to happen because the GPU is running at its normal speed (I have to clock down to avoid that one). Happened today too, on a much shorter trip. Like usual it messed up near the end, so I took over and was just about to land when I wanted to switch to cockpit view.
